Discover our four bespoke interpreting solutions

1

Simultaneous interpreting

Ideal for conferences, lectures and presentations, this method involves translating speakers’ speech in real time. Thanks to the use of soundproof booths and earpieces, communication remains smooth, instantaneous and completely uninterrupted, ensuring that the natural flow of your event is maintained.

2

Consecutive interpreting

Ideally suited to business meetings, small committees and official meetings, consecutive interpreting takes place at intervals. The interpreter takes detailed notes during the speech and faithfully conveys the message as soon as the speaker pauses, ensuring a high degree of accuracy without the need for bulky technical equipment.

3

Liaison interpreting

This service is designed to support an individual or a small group during business meetings, visits to industrial sites or strategic initiatives. The interpreter acts as a direct and discreet intermediary, translating sentence by sentence to ensure perfect mutual understanding amongst all participants.

4

Whispering (Chuchotage) interpreting

A form of simultaneous interpreting that does not require any technical equipment, whispering or chuchotage is intended for one or, at most, two people within an audience. Positioned right next to your colleagues or partners, our expert linguist translates conversations in a low voice and in real time, ensuring absolute confidentiality and a perfect record of the discussions.

Your questions about interpreting

What type of interpreting should I choose for my event?2026-09-29T12:10:32+00:00

The choice of interpretation depends primarily on the format of your meeting, the number of participants and the number of languages you need. For a major congress or an international conference, simultaneous interpreting is essential: working from a sound booth, the linguists translate in real time without ever interrupting the flow of the speeches. For a small committee meeting, a training session, or business negotiations, consecutive interpreting (translation after the speaker has finished), or liaison interpreting (free-flowing exchanges within a small group) are better suited, easier to set up and more budget friendly.

How much does the interpreting service cost?2026-09-29T12:12:00+00:00

Unlike document translation, which is charged per word, interpreting services are based on a daily rate (cost per day or half-day) or an hourly rate. This price covers both the preparatory research work the interpreters need to do and the live interpreting itself. The final amount depends on the technical complexity of the subject, the language combinations required, and the choice of format (on-site interpretation, videoconference, etc.).

Do you provide the technical equipment (booths, microphones, headphones)?2026-09-29T12:13:12+00:00

Yes, our agency offers end-to-end logistical and technical support for your events. We organise all the equipment required for your event: soundproof interpreting booths, interpreter consoles, headphones and earpieces for the audience, as well as microphones. If your event is taking place remotely, we set up remote simultaneous interpretation solutions (RSI) tailored to the videoconferencing platforms available on the market to ensure crystal-clear audio transmission.

What information and documents do the interpreters need in order to prepare for the interpretation?2026-09-29T12:21:44+00:00

Interpreting leaves no room for improvisation. To ensure that everything goes completely smoothly on the day, our professional interpreters carry out thorough preparation work. Ideally, we request that you share your supporting documentation with us 2 to 3 weeks before your event: agenda, PowerPoint presentations, reports, written speeches, meeting agenda or a glossary of the jargon used in your profession. This prior semantic immersion is key to ensuring interpretive accuracy and perfect rendering of your sector-specific terminology.
